Spencer and the Cat Rustler team worked at and managed performance media agency Opticomm delivering through the line paid media solutions. It was here they saw the power of influencer marketing as a channel and its ability to act as a channel that could pretty much do anything for anyone – and one where the creativity could be endless and not restricted to the traditional communications planning approach.
They saw a gap in the market for those brands that don’t have endless budgets to throw on a chance or a whim – they wanted to bring the test and learn DM style rigour of performance media to the ‘Wild west’ world of social influencer marketing – but only after proving that it could perform against paid media – and perform it did.
Their passion is proving to brands that it can be part of the channel mix to deliver results whatever the brief and whatever the budget.
